Privacy policy
How we collect, use and protect visitor data.
Effective date: 2 September 2026 — Last updated: 2 September 2026
1. Who we are
UpbitWatch ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at upbit.capital, an independent information and review platform that compares the costs and conditions of retail derivatives brokers.
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Xi'an Mushihuaben Microcrystal Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Room 801, Block A, Sihai Center, southwest corner of the intersection of North Taihua Road and Fengcheng 3rd Road, Weiyang District, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China.
We are not a broker, we do not hold client funds, and we do not provide investment advice.
2. What personal data we collect
When you submit the request form on our site, we collect:
If you speak with a member of our team after submitting the form, we also keep a record of that correspondence and any information you choose to share during it.
We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your financial details, account balances, card numbers, trading account credentials, or identity document numbers. No member of our team will ever request them.
When you visit the site we automatically receive:
If you reached us by clicking an advertisement, the advertising platform may pass us a click identifier (for example Meta's fbclid parameter) in the URL. We use it only to understand which campaigns bring visitors to the site.
- Your first name.
- Your email address.
- Your country or region of residence.
- The fact that you confirmed you are 18 or older and accepted this policy.
- Your IP address and approximate location derived from it.
- Browser type, operating system and device type.
- The pages you viewed, the time of your visit, and the referring URL.
- Data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your data
We use your name and email to send you the broker cost table you requested and to have a member of our team contact you about that request. We use your country to determine which brokers and information are relevant to your region, and, where you have agreed, to send occasional updates about our research. We use technical and usage data to operate, secure and improve the website, and click identifiers to measure the performance of our advertising. We also process data where we must to meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on consent for marketing updates and non-essential cookies and advertising measurement, which you may withdraw at any time; on legitimate interests for responding to your request, operating and securing the site, and measuring how well our content performs, having assessed that these interests are not overridden by your rights; and on legal obligation where we must retain records to comply with applicable law.
5. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only with service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions — our website hosting provider, our database provider (Supabase), and our email delivery provider; with advertising platforms, in aggregated or pseudonymised form, to measure campaign performance; and with authorities or advisers, where we are legally required to disclose, or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not pass your name, email address or country to the brokers listed on this site. A member of our own team contacts you directly. If you later decide to open an account with a broker, you deal with that broker yourself, under their own terms and privacy policy.
We earn commission when a visitor opens an account with a broker listed on this site. This does not change what we share, and it does not affect the data in our comparison tables.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies needed for the site to function; analytics cookies, to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from; and advertising and measurement technologies, including the Meta Pixel, which allow us to measure the results of advertising campaigns and, where you have consented, to show you relevant advertising. The Meta Pixel may set cookies and send Meta information about your visit, including pages viewed and actions such as submitting our form.
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Refusing non-essential cookies does not affect your ability to use the site or submit the form.
Meta processes this information as an independent controller for some purposes. See Meta's own privacy policy for details of that processing.
7. International transfers
We are established in China, and our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. This means your personal data may be transferred to, and stored in, a country whose data protection laws differ from those of your own. Where data originating in the EEA or UK is transferred, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, as applicable, and we apply the safeguards described in the Security section in every case.
8. How long we keep your data
Form submissions and correspondence: 24 months from your last interaction with us, then deleted or anonymised. Website usage and analytics data: up to 14 months. Records we must keep by law: for the period the law requires.
If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the postal address in the Contact section, or reply to any message you receive from our team. We handle requests within the time limits set by the law that applies to you. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data deleted.
- Restrict or object to our processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Opt out of marketing messages, by telling the team member who contacts you or by writing to the postal address in the Contact section.

10. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted administrative access to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
This site is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us at the address in the Contact section and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
Our site links to broker websites and other third parties. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before providing them with personal data.
